World's Fair Donuts

World's Fair Donuts is important. Bottom line. On the corner of Shaw Blvd, this is a great stop along the way if you're hitting up the Missouri Botanical Gardens.  Things to enjoy at WFD: the old couple that runs it their DONUTS license plate on their car the ancient cash register fruit or chocolate-filled fried pie reasonable prices! Fried Pies:   In the video I'm eating a blueberry fried pie, which tastes to me a lot like a home-made toaster strudel. Less flaky, but same concept. If this was hot, it'd be perfect. I highly recommend anything with Federhofer's chocolate icing. French crullers are also excellent and I would've gotten one if I'd woken up earlier. My fault, no excuses. Seriously, though, if you like chocolate, this icing is top of the line. What I love about Federhofer's is that I don't feel terrible about myself after eating these donuts. The
